Dancing with Shadows
Simply Musings
January 5, 2024
In twilight's embrace I find my way,
Between the night and dying day.
The shadows call, they beckon near,
To dance away my deepest fear.
With every step, with every turn,
I feel my spirit start to burn.
For in this dance of dark and light,
I discover strength to face the night.
The shadows whisper ancient songs,
Of rights and wrongs, of rights and wrongs.
They teach me that in darkness deep,
Are secrets that the light can't keep.
So I embrace both sun and shade,
For in their union, I am made
Complete, whole, and finally free
To be the truest part of me.
Between the night and dying day.
The shadows call, they beckon near,
To dance away my deepest fear.
With every step, with every turn,
I feel my spirit start to burn.
For in this dance of dark and light,
I discover strength to face the night.
The shadows whisper ancient songs,
Of rights and wrongs, of rights and wrongs.
They teach me that in darkness deep,
Are secrets that the light can't keep.
So I embrace both sun and shade,
For in their union, I am made
Complete, whole, and finally free
To be the truest part of me.
